Galway Indian community is a non-political, non-profitable, voluntary organization. We are based in Galway, Ireland since it’s conception in Oct 2006. Our community is also registered member of Intercultural Community Forum which is part of Galway city council. Main objective of Intercultural community forum is to encourage ethnic minority groups here in Galway and try to help them with their needs. In the community we promote awareness of our Indian identity, its culture and tradition. Galway Indian Community tries to bring little of India here in Galway by organizing regular programmes which includes social get togethers, Durga puja, Diwali, New Year celebration, republic day celebration, etc. Our main mission is to enhance our ethnicity through our culture and tradition. Galway Indian Community primary goal was also to educate our younger generation with some cultural and traditional values of India.
