Social Media Considerations
Please be advised that filming and photography will occur in the community hall and premises during the event. If you do not wish to appear in any images captured, please bring your notice to the organizing committee. The events photographs/film will be used by the committee in their social handles. They may also be included in publications or promotional materials. Professional boundary violations by any audience represent a breach of trust, a failure to follow the conduct would lead to consequences.
Catering/Food Safety
The event organizer ensures that all catering/food provided during the event is adequately fresh and maintains all the hygiene parameters. In case of any food allergy, intolerance, or coeliac disease, please request the committee about the ingredients in your food and drink before you order. Lastly, the provision of free drinking water is of particular importance during the Puja days. Drinking water where possible should be supplied or dispensed through. The team shall maintain a suitable non-slip surface adequately to all drinking water supply areas.
Galway Indian community is a non-political, non-profitable, voluntary organization. We are based in Galway, Ireland since it’s conception in Oct 2006. Our community is also registered member of Intercultural Community Forum which is part of Galway city council. Main objective of Intercultural community forum is to encourage ethnic minority groups here in Galway and try to help them with their needs. In the community we promote awareness of our Indian identity, its culture and tradition. Galway Indian Community tries to bring little of India here in Galway by organizing regular programmes which includes social get togethers, Durga puja, Diwali, New Year celebration, republic day celebration, etc. Our main mission is to enhance our ethnicity through our culture and tradition. Galway Indian Community primary goal was also to educate our younger generation with some cultural and traditional values of India.
